Julie Crosby
Co-Founder
Julie is a producer and manager of stories on stages and screens of all sizes, with budgets ranging from minuscule to $10+ million. Regardless of scope, Julie provides strategic insight and guidance across project development, financing, marketing and operations.
Julie is a Founding Partner of Cromono International, which has offices in New York, Paris and Taipei. With partners Philippe Mongay and Edouard Flamans, Cromono has collectively garnered 300+ credits on live theater, rock concerts, comedy and cabaret shows, digital media projects and films.
Julie holds a Ph.D. in medieval drama from Columbia University, was previously honored with the Lilly Award for Outstanding Producer and named to Forbes’ 40 Over 40 Women to Watch list. Her recent feature, Alien Intervention, releases widely in late November 2023.

Jane Applegate
Co-Founder
Jane is a veteran producer of television and film projects and co-founder of Showbizing. She teaches the business of film class at the Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema at Brooklyn College and provides production consulting for many other producers and creative collaborators.
Jane is the executive producer of Remarkable Women: Out of the Shadows, an global episodic series featuring stories about accomplished women behind the success of iconic men around the world. The series received development funding from Creative Europe.
She is the co-founder of the Remarkable Women Project, an educational nonprofit devoted to sharing true stories about remarkable women to inspire everyone to live courageously.
Jane is a member of the Producers Guild of America. Prior to becoming a producer, she was a financial reporter and syndicated small business columnist for the Los Angeles Times. She’s the author of four books on small business management. Her fifth book, Hair on Fire: An Insider’s Guide to Producing for the Big and Small Screen is available in paperback and Kindle format on Amazon.
